At the Tap & Tumbler in Nottingham, where they don't do chilled shots - Adorable Boyfriend had to settle for vodka on ice. I was happy as a clam with my pint and my whiskey. No ice required.

Ashok and my Aunt Holly have been pen pals since before I was born. He gave me the "Look kids, Big Ben! Parliament!" car tour of London, then took me home to meet his lovely Madhu. They treated me like family and took me out for the best Indian food EVER!
It was barely lunch time, as you can see by the light in the window, but Miss McConaghy couldn't wait for dark to have her first pint of Guinness in the homeland.

Our tour guide asked for volunteers to do a tasting. My hand flew up with gusto, apparently.
My college degree is in a box in the garage (I..uh...hope). This is going on the wall.
He's actually drinking the stuff! Turns out they serve it with cranberry juice over there - all hope is not lost for Adorable Boyfriend and No. 1 Hot Liquor Tank.
Everyone said I looked Irish. Then we got to Glasgow, where we stumbled upon my rather tall Scottish twin. Even she saw the resemblance. I felt a STRONG ancestral connection, and can't wait to return.
